Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:30PM - No Weekends!
The Intake Mental Health Counselor, under the supervision of the Director of Intake and the Chief Intake Officer, is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu in the Intake department, escorting admissions to the units, conducting safety checks, taking pictures for patient identification, patient monitoring, de-escalating acute situations, and providing supportive interactions with patients.
Successful Intake Mental Health Counselor candidates will have:

High school diploma; bachelor's degree in Mental Health, Human Services or related field preferred. Previous PCT/PCA experience applicable.

Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Health Record required; experience with Electronic Health Record, including Medsphere/Vista preferred.

Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.

Previous experience in psychiatric or substance inpatient, restraint reduction de-escalation, and crisis intervention is preferred.

Pay Range
Compensation will be determined based on the candidates relevant experience.
$22.00 - 27.08
