Job Summary
The Men’s Locker room Custodian position is responsible for the overall cleaning and upkeep of the Men’s Locker Room in order to ensure a pleasurable experience for our members and their guests.
Essential Job Functions
- Works to efficiently maintain the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the facility while providing outstanding Member service.
- Continually clean and detail Locker Room areas throughout hours of operation.
- Continually performs facility “walk-throughs” to ensure tidiness and cleanliness in all spaces.
- Cleans all assigned areas to Miramont Country Club standards, using proper cleaning supplies.
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude with members and their guests at all times, being ready to assist when needed.
- Monitors supply levels in all areas, replenishing when needed.
- Manages locker room hampers, emptying and requesting pick up as needed.
- Manages the set up and replenishment of member amenities, including coffee area.
- Maintains and performs functions of the laundry; folding linens, separating linens, loading washer/ dryer, and pressing linens.
- Documents any deficiencies, including mechanical and electrical problems from the areas you clean and report to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Labels and submits all lost and found items to the concierge/receptionist.
- Completes other assignments made by the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper

- Comfortable with taking direction, as well as communicating with fellow team members within and outside of team.
- Highly responsible and well-organized in tending to Men’s Locker Room area and Member needs.
- Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Job Qualification Standards
The following describes the general qualifications and physical, sensory and mental abilities normally associated with performing the essential functions of this position.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous Locker Room experience in Country Clubs or Hotels preferred.
Physical, Sensory And Motor Demands
- Able to bend and lift 20 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to walk, bend, reach, stretch, and use repetitive arm and leg motions for duration of shift.
