Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the efficient operation, upkeep and repair of facilities and equipment across multiple locations, with a primary focus on Miramont Country Club. Key duties include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and conducting necessary repairs to ensure all areas are safe, functional and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented and dedicated to providing a clean and welcoming environment for members and guests. Responsibilities may expand to include additional properties as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, backhoes, and bucket trucks; must successfully pass an operational test administered by a supervisor.
- Complete and maintain certification from an ADP-provided online electronics maintenance course, including ballast wiring, line voltage identification, capacitor testing, and troubleshooting of photo cells, time clock circuits, and AC/DC motors.
- Perform comprehensive pool equipment maintenance, including pump and motor replacement, PVC repairs, level sensor and heater troubleshooting; must maintain valid certification from an ADP-provided online pool maintenance training module.
- Perform advanced carpentry and drywall repairs, including taping, mudding, and finishing.
- Safely work at heights using ladders, lifts, scaffolding, bucket trucks, and fall protection equipment to complete exterior and interior building maintenance.
- Follow established schedules for lamping, painting, air filter replacement, and belt changes across all ADP-managed properties.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, vendors, and coworkers.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Recommend and help implement goals, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently while adapting to changing priorities.
- Identify vehicle maintenance needs and coordinate appropriate repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with established reporting procedures.
- Adhere to a consistent and dependable work schedule.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Building Engineer and/or Chief Engineer.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related field.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, professional attitude.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Physical demands include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform continuous repetitive motions.
- Ability to walk, climb ladders and stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, and reach.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in a busy, noisy environment with exposure to hot, cold, humid, wet, or slippery conditions.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
