General Manager – Tasting Room

Job Summary
Miraflores Winery is seeking a hands-on, organized, and customer-focused General Manager to oversee daily tasting room operations and support overall winery business functions. This role combines hospitality, operations, sales coordination, and administrative management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily tasting room operations including guest experience, wine service, reservations, and point-of-sale (VinNow)
• Maintain cleanliness, inventory, and overall presentation of tasting room, kitchen, and outdoor areas
• Process online orders, track sales, and monitor daily financial activity
• Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and compliance (RBS & food safety certifications)
• Plan and execute winery events, wine club releases, and promotions
• Communicate with vendors, distributors, and internal teams (production, marketing, accounting)
• Manage wine club operations (quarterly releases, shipments, and member communications)
• Oversee marketing coordination including email campaigns and event promotions
• Ensure compliance with licensing, reporting, and operational requirements
• Support sales growth through events, partnerships, and customer engagement

Qualifications:

• Previous management experience in hospitality, winery, or retail preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Experience with POS systems and basic financial tracking
• Ability to work weekends, events, and flexible hours as needed

Schedule:
Full-time position with weekend and event availability required
