Description Of Duties/Essential Functions
Under direction, reviews and evaluates documents supporting the Agency's charge of grant assistance and food stamp overpayments received by clients and former clients; analyzes documents to determine validity and strength of Agency's case; contact sources to obtain additional documentation; prepares reports for submittal to the Federal government or to the Attorney General. Negotiates repayment plans with former clients and participates in follow-up collection activities.
Minimum Requirements
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years college w/course work in one of the behavioral sciences. Requires extensive knowledge of casework principles, methods and practices. Requires extensive knowledge of agency policies, rules and procedures.
