What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Program Manager position at MIRACORP?
Essential Functions:
- Apply expert-level Excel (Formulas, XLookup, Slicers, Conditional Formatting), Pareto, and Power BI techniques to complete advanced data analysis & reporting
- Collaborate with defense agencies and enterprise users to implement DAWDA strategies for acquisition workforce development
- Analyze existing workflows across the program to identify inefficiencies or gaps in support of process improvement
- Develop and track funding requirements and allocations across DoD entities using official financial systems
- Maintain program transaction records in Government-approved systems (e.g., Defense Agencies Initiative, or similar platforms)
- Conduct Program Lifecycle Support for individual programs and propose adjustments based on status and forecast shifts
- Serve as a liaison with DAWDA Managers, PMs, and technical teams to share program updates and strategic guidance
- Delivering training and documentation that increases user and stakeholder understanding of systems and processes
- Track project progress and dependencies, proactively identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Program Management (DoD preferred)
- Experience with acquisition lifecycle, funding accounts, and federal budgeting
- Proficiency in MS Excel (XLookup, VLookup, slicers, conditional formatting) is a must
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
- Excellent customer-facing skills; writing and verbal communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Favorable Background Check
