Job Location:    Lakewood/Denver, CO (2100) - Lakewood, CO
Position Type:    Full Time
Salary Range:    $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 Salary/year

We are currently seeking a senior-level Federal Contract Specialist in the Lakewood or Denver, CO area. Particularly interested in FAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102

The level applicable to you will be dependent on your experience and credentials.

Key Responsibilities: Applicable to all Contract Specialist levels

  • Prepares solicitations, RFP, and associated documents.
  • Receives, records, and reviews offers/modifications.
  • Performs cost/price analysis; prepares for and participates in negotiations; and documents fair and reasonable pricing.
  • Maintains official contract file, prepares routine letters.
  • Processes/maintains contractor invoices and resolves payment problems.
  • Performs closeout actions and prepares official files for staging.
  • Expert in Federal procurement regulations.
  • Experience executing high-dollar transactions.
  • Experience in the placement/administration for simplified acquisitions and formal contracts.


Contract Specialist - Senior:

Minimum Qualifications: Fifteen (15) years of experience in federal contracting, Construction project experience is preferred.Must have FAC-C, DAWIA, or GS-1102 certifications and a Bachelor's degree (Degree requirement can be waived with the right experience level). Prior Federal employment in contracting preferred.

Contract Specialist - IV:

Minimum Qualifications: Eight (8) years of experience in federal contracting. Construction project experience is a huge plus! Special consideration given to FAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102. Bachelor's degree or procurement certifications required.

Contract Specialist - ll and III:

Minimum Qualifications: Five (5) years of experience in government contracting. Construction projects experience is a huge plus! Special consideration given to FAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102.Must have 24 hours of business credits from an accredited college.
