Description:
We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to manage multiple IT projects from planning through completion. The candidate will be responsible for managing approximately 6–9 projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking project milestones, and communicating with business and technical stakeholders.
The initial engagement will be a 6-month contract, with the intention to convert the selected candidate to a full-time employee based on performance and business requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and milestones.
Coordinate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams.
Track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
Identify and resolve project-related issues.
Manage priorities across multiple projects.
Required Skills:
15 years of overall professional experience.
4 years of Project Management experience.
Experience managing multiple projects, preferably 6–9 projects concurrently.
Strong IT/technology background.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong project planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work full-time onsite in Charlotte, NC.
PMP certification is a plus.
The primary focus is strong Project Management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The specific technology stack is not the primary consideration.
