Position Description:
SAP PI/PO - CPI Integration Consultant
• Proven experience working with SAP integration tools (SAP BTP, PI/PO,API) or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) software, including implementation, configuration and support.
• Strong understanding of integration concepts, protocols, and standards, such as SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and EDI
• Experience with SAP integration technologies, such as SAP NetWeaver PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, and SAP API Management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and implement effective solutions
• Experience on Cloud-to-Cloud Integration, on-premises integration, and hybrid integration
• Good hands-on experience on User-defined functions (UDF), Java mappings, groovy script, and XSLT mapping
• Experience of integration with SAP Cloud applications and other cloud applications (like Client, SAP S/4 Hana MM, PP modules)
• Experience in using API Calls using SAP API Business Hub
• Deep knowledge of protocols and formats that come into play including B2B, Flat file, JDBC, EDI, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, RFC, IDOC, ALE/EDI, JMS, JDBC, ODBC etc.
Skills Required:
• Overall experience of 10 years in SAP PI/PO - CPI.
• As a SAP PI/PO or CPI Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions to connect SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Process Integration/Orchestration (PI/PO) or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• You will work closely with clients to gather requirements, design integration flows, and provide guidance throughout the implementation process to ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze integration requirements, including system interfaces, data mappings, transformation rules, and message protocols
• Configure integration scenarios, channels, mappings, and adapters within SAP PI/PO or CPI to enable seamless communication between systems
• Customize and extend standard SAP integration content using mapping tools, graphical editors, and development environments
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing of integration scenarios to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance
• Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the implementation process, including system setup, configuration, deployment, and post-go-live support • Conduct user training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on integration concepts, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including integration requirements, technical designs, test plans, and support documentation
• Stay informed about updates, new features, and industry trends in SAP integration technology, and make recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.
