Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with 8 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, React.js, and cloud platforms, with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred. Candidates with solid experience in AWS or Microsoft Azure are also encouraged to apply.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can design scalable architectures, mentor development teams, and drive best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Python.
• Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on GCP (preferred) or AWS/Azure.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize applications for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Skills

• 8 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with React.js.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, with GCP preferred; AWS or Azure experience is acceptable.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Cloud Monitoring.
• Exposure to serverless architecture.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.
• Cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, or Azure) are a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 8 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong backend development expertise with Python.
• Good frontend development experience using React.js.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and contribute to solution architecture.
• Self-driven with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
