Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – Embedded Software to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of embedded software products throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, hardware, software, QA, and business stakeholders to define product vision, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality embedded solutions for connected devices or automotive systems.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the product roadmap for embedded software products.
Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and customer requirements.
Translate product requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications.
Collaborate with embedded software, hardware, systems engineering, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Drive Agile product development by managing product backlogs and sprint priorities.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product releases.
Work with stakeholders to define product vision, business goals, and success metrics.
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to identify product opportunities.
Support product launches and ensure successful adoption of new features.
Track product performance using KPIs and continuously improve product capabilities.
Manage product risks, dependencies, and change requests throughout the development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Automotive, IoT, Consumer Electronics, Medical Devices, or Industrial Embedded Systems.
Knowledge of embedded software architectures, CAN, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, or other communication protocols.
Familiarity with AUTOSAR, Linux Embedded, or RTOS environments.
Experience with connected products and cloud integration.
SAFe, Scrum Product Owner, or PMP certification is a plus.
