We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations.
- Perform dental procedures such as extractions, root canal therapy, and dental fabrications while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with the ability to practice dentistry in the state of employment.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and procedures is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
