About the Role
Are you someone who finds joy in the details? At Miracle on River Street, we don’t just sell ornaments; we curate memories. We are looking for a reliable, independent Retail Team Member to manage our shop’s daily operations. You will have the autonomy to run the shop on your own during your shift, ensuring every customer experiences "Magic in the Details".
Key Responsibilities
- Stewardship: Act as the primary manager on duty, maintaining full responsibility for the shop's atmosphere and security.
- The Glisten Standard: Maintain impeccable visual standards, ensuring displays are perfectly merchandised according to our brand binder. Maintain knowledge of seasonal merchandise, including decorations, ornaments, gifts, and themed items
- Operational Excellence: Complete and initial daily opening/closing checklists to ensure no detail is missed.
- Data & Trends: Record essential business metrics, including foot traffic and weather trends, in our Weekly Planner to help us grow.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Use our provided guides to independently manage POS hardware during your shift.
Qualifications
- Trustworthy & Independent: Comfortable working solo and making decisions in line with company values.
- Detail-Oriented: You notice when an ornament is out of place or a glass surface needs a quick wipe.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with a POS or a quick ability to learn digital systems.
- Community Minded: You enjoy engaging with the Manistee community and helping tourists find the perfect keepsake.
