Job Description Role: Senior Product Analyst Location: Bengaluru What you’ll do We’re MiQ, a global programmatic media partner for marketers and agencies. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, so you will be too. No matter the role or the location, we’re all united in the vision to lead the programmatic industry and make it better. As a Senior Product Analyst in our DnA Capabilities function, you’ll have the chance to: Be actively involved in and take ownership of critical aspects of product development, with a stronger emphasis on ambiguous problem-framing, research, analysis, documentation, and end-to-end product execution for AI-assisted and analytics-heavy workflows. Partner closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to shape roadmap decisions, define success metrics, influence prioritisation, and drive adoption through evidence-led recommendations. Help design workflow and product experiences where AI is embedded meaningfully into the user journey, including AI-assisted insight generation, narrative support, contextual recommendations, and quality-controlled outputs. Work across structured and unstructured data sources to surface actionable signals, connect fragmented knowledge, and turn them into product features or analyst workflows that reduce manual effort and improve decision quality. Contribute to the design of robust handoffs, APIs, and system integrations that allow product workflows to move seamlessly across tools, users, and contexts. Ensure outputs are decision-grade by applying analytical rigour, factchecking, confidence-based thinking, experimentation, and human-in-the-loop quality control where needed. Mentor junior analysts, raise the quality bar on analysis and product thinking, and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment. Stay close to emerging AI tooling, AI-based IDEs, copilots, and knowledge/retrieval systems such as Cursor, VS Code Copilot, Replit, Claude, Retool, Claude Skills, and similar platforms, and identify where they can improve team productivity, product usability, or output quality. Who are your stakeholders? The Senior Product Analyst’s internal customers/stakeholders include: Product Managers / Consultants / Traders / Data Scientists / Analysts / Engineers: the Senior Product Analyst builds solutions and workflows used by these stakeholders and works with them to translate business needs into scalable product or workflow improvements. Product Management: the Senior Product Analyst works closely with Product to define impact frameworks, influence roadmap choices, monitor adoption, and recommend next steps for feature development. Cross-functional platform and data teams: the role requires leading conversations across Data Engineering, Data Science, Product, Sales, and Trading to move product execution forward in ambiguous environments. What you’ll bring 2–4 years of experience in translating business problems into scalable and insightful products through descriptive and inquisitive analytics, with strong product-thinking and execution ability. Strong experience in Python for analysis and prototyping, plus comfort working with large-scale data environments such as Databricks, Spark, and AWS. Strong grounding in product analytics, experimentation, and causal thinking, including designing tests, defining guardrails, and translating readouts into product decisions. Ability to work with APIs, system integrations, and workflow orchestration patterns, with a practical understanding of authentication, data movement, and scalable product architecture, including familiarity with LLM and agent integrations such as OpenAI APIs, Claude APIs, and tool-driven workflow patterns. Practical familiarity with AI-enabled ways of working, including prompt-based tooling and hands-on exposure to tools such as Cursor, VS Code Copilot, Replit, Claude, Retool, Claude Skills, OpenAI APIs, and similar LLM-assisted, retrieval-augmented, and human-review-driven workflows. Ability to evaluate where AI adds value versus where deterministic logic, analytics, or human review should remain primary. Strong storytelling and visualisation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in statistical modelling and advanced analytics, with the ability to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies that shape strategy and product development. High degree of organisation and comfort managing multiple competing priorities across product, data, and stakeholder tracks. Experience mentoring junior analysts and contributing to a collaborative team culture. Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and working styles quickly, especially in fast-evolving AI environments. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any engineering discipline / MBA. We’ve highlighted some key skills, experience and requirements for this role. But please don’t worry if you don’t meet every single one. Our talent team strives to find the best people. You will help scope, build, test, and improve data-driven product capabilities that strengthen MiQ’s product and analytics advantage. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build generalised features and intelligent workflows that help internal stakeholders discover insights, make better decisions, and execute faster. You will play a key role in feature testing, adoption monitoring, feedback loops, and business impact measurement so that high-quality products are released and improved iteratively. You will bring strong analytical judgment to product development, especially where AI, automation, knowledge retrieval, and quality control need to work together in a practical and trustworthy way. You will help build MiQ’s brand in data science and product innovation by contributing ideas, research, experimentation, and thought leadership internally and externally. What’s in it for you?
