Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Owner-Operator Truck Driver based in the western US. Responsibilities include transporting goods professionally and safely, planning efficient delivery routes, managing delivery schedules, and performing routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance. Drivers will maintain accurate logs, comply with all safety regulations, and communicate effectively with clients and the operations team to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to plan routes and manage on-time deliveries
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage administrative tasks such as maintaining driver logs and handling transport documents
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and clean driving record
- Self-motivation, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
- Access to and ownership of a roadworthy and compliant truck is required
- Prior experience in logistics or transportation is a plus
