Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Sophomore Class Advisor for the 20262027 school year. This is a stipend position, with responsibilities and compensation detailed below.Major Responsibilities:
- Host yearly elections of officers.
- Hold monthly meetings with officers.
- Have at minimum 2 fundraisers per year.
- Work with other advisors as needed to plan multi-class events.
- Supervise all planed events.
- Work with Business Office to follow all school policies around fundraising.
- Follow all policies and procedures in regard to tracking, spending, holding, and saving money.
- Plan, Implement, and supervise fieldtrips following school procedures and policies.
- Complete an approved Program of Work.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with students, parents, and staff.
- This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.
