What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at Minute Men Staffing?
Minutemen Staffing is now hiring an experienced Welder for a local manufacturing facility.
Shift - Monday-Thursday 6am to 4:30pm
Pay - $22.00 to $30.00 an hr. based on experience
Temp to Hire position
Job Duties:
- Able to run machine shop equipment including welding machines, and tools and grinders.
- Weld components (aluminum and or steel) using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Cut metal into shapes
- Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
- Review samples, drawings and or instructions to understand specifications of output.
Job Requirements:
- Able to use welding equipment & have basic welding knowledge
- Able to troubleshoot and make repairs as needed
- Able to read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals
- Must be a self-started and work independently with limited supervision.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with metals
