Job Summary:
Sets ups and operates the various trim presses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintaining production schedule
· Record data from press and making sure the press is running safely and fully optimized.
· Perform the press set-up including any changes or adjustments to bolts, clamps at the beginning of each production run.
· Lubricate die surfaces – to prevent product from sticking in dies.
· Clean die surfaces with air brush at times of lube / scale build up.
· Hi-Lo driving
· Pull trimmers out of the hot box and take them over to the press for installation.
· Remove trim dies from press and move to tooling area.
· Ensure the heat code inside the die is correct for the production run
· Relieve trimmer during breaks
Additional Responsibilities:
· Perform other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
· High school diploma
· 2-3 years of press operation experience
· Prior experience driving a Hi-Lo

· Ability to communicate with crew
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to deal with stressful and intense situations
· Ability to maintain safety protocols

Work Environment:

· The position performs duties in a warehouse environment
· While performing work-related duties the employee routinely uses heavy press equipment
· The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy.
· Work in extreme weather conditions extreme cold to extreme heat
Work Schedule:
· 40-60 hour minimum workweek; Monday – Friday – Some Saturdays required
- 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. (day shift)
- 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. (afternoon shift)
· May require on-call duty and the ability to work outside of scheduled work hours including weekends and holidays when the need arises
