Job Title: Plastic Extrusion Operator
Pay: $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience
Hours:
- 2nd shift 7pm-7am Mon-Thurs
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Plastic Extrusion Operator to set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines used in the production of plastic materials and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor production lines and adjust machine settings to maintain quality
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications
- Load raw materials and maintain proper material flow
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Document production data as required
Experience Needed:
- Previous experience in plastic extrusion or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read and interpret production instructions and measurements
- Basic mechanical skills and understanding of machine operation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
