JOB DESCRIPTION
Minutemen Staffing is seeking a dependable and experienced Hi-Lo Operator to join a busy manufacturing facility in the Grand Rapids area.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating a Hi-Lo or forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and the ability to keep materials moving efficiently throughout the facility.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate a Hi-Lo/forklift to transport materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and deliveries.
- Move raw materials and finished products to designated locations.
- Supply production lines with materials as needed.
- Stack, organize, and store materials safely.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Hi-Lo or forklift operating experience preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to safely maneuver equipment in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace instructions.
