Title: Fabricator

Pay Rate:  $19.00-$20.00

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE READING A TAPE MEASURE TO 1/16" AND WILL BE TESTED AT INTERVIEW

Position Summary:

The Fabricator is responsible to assemble hoses and fittings according to company, customer and regulatory agency standards.

Primary Functions:

• Pick fittings per the customer order
• Cut hose to length and label the hose
• Assemble and crimp the hose and fittings according to standards
• Test the hose assembly and record the data

• Work in a clean room or a standard sanitary manufacturing environment, as needed

• Collaborate with other departments, cross train, and help where needed

• Champion safety, company culture and ethics
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and comply with applicable regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to use standard calipers and read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as: 
  • Safely navigating a manufacturing environment
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and some bending and stooping
  • Using tools and equipment
  • Perform some lifting up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
