What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSEMBLER position at Minute Men Staffing?
Machining, fabrication, and assembly shop that services many industries including power, paper, steel, and OEM. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler.
Assembly and Repair Job Duties:
- Coordinate jobs with other departments within the company (engineering, machining, fabrication)
- Help meet last minute overtime and on-call needs to satisfy customers
- Organize and maintain assembly area tools and materials
- Help instill safe and positive practices and attitudes throughout the organization
- Perform on-site customer work as required (less than 10% of job)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Knowledge of mechanical design, including expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and bearing applications
- Substantial Millwright skills
- Excellent individual communication skills with employees and customers
- Work scheduling skills to support the efficient operations of the company
- Integrity and Pride will not be compromised
- Customer oriented/ focused
EXPERIENCE
- 5 Years or more experience as an assembler of an equivalent machine manufacturer or industrial repair.
- Overhead crane operation
- Forklift experience
