Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Verify patient insurance coverage and update information within system
- Explain coverage to patients and assist with any questions they may have
- Update patient records and benefit information
- Perform research related to new benefit plans and coverage options as needed
- Additional duties to support the Insurance Department as needed
- Fill out documentation required for accurate billing
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 1 year or more of insurance verification; dental insurance verification preferred
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire and commitment to serving and helping others
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with a team
- Strong focus and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong organizational and anticipation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs as required
