This position will be instrumental in helping students reach their full potential within a structured and supportive self-contained special education program. Key Responsibilities: • Working with students in regular and special education settings • Be encouraging to all children to achieve success and attain personal goals • Carry out smooth and effective transitions from one activity to another • Adapt to meet the needs of all students • Follow district and building policies and procedures Possible Physical Demands, but not limited to: • Standing, Walking, Sitting, Kneeling, Bending and Reaching outward • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
