What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider position at Minor Emergency and Family Care?
Urgent Care in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)-Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. Must be able to work weekends. Previous experience in urgent care is a plus. The NP or PA will be treating acute, chronic and long-term healthcare issues among a team of providers as well as treating patients autonomously. Responsibilities: Perform suturing and other medical procedures, assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations, provide counsel and medical treatment to patients, educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance. VA License (REQUIRED), ability to build rapport with patients, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
