This position is remote (work from home) with periodic site visits required to support active projects.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from award through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, coating specifications, and applicable industry standards.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from award through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, coating specifications, and applicable industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple water tank and industrial coating projects simultaneously
- Coordinate with field crews, inspectors, engineers, owners, and subcontractors
- Review and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost tracking
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with coating specifications, safety plans, and quality control requirements
- Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Support closeout documentation, warranty submissions, and final invoicing
- NACE Level 2 (AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector) – minimum requirement
- Demonstrated experience managing water storage tank and/or industrial painting projects
- Strong understanding of surface preparation standards (SSPC / AMPP), coating systems, and AWWA requirements
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Willingness to travel periodically to project sites
- Preferred Experience
- Experience with municipal water tank projects
- Familiarity with AMPP QP1/QP2 programs
- Experience managing subcontractors and inspectors
- Proficiency with project management software and spreadsheets
