Job Description

Childcare Worker

Mino Care is looking for motivated Childcare workers to add to our professional team. This Ideal candidate must have a secure and compassionate environment for children whether in their home or at the home of the child. They must provide children with a space that stimulates their intellectual, physical, and emotional growth. And they should plan and implement activities and lesson plans that are age-appropriate, with the child’s well-being in mind.

Roles/Responsibilities (include, But Are Not Limited To)

• Plan, lead, and guide activities throughout the day, such as reading, physical activity, and creative expression through art and song
• Ensure that meals are prepared and distributed to all children
• Provide guidance with safe hygiene practices
• Monitor children throughout the day and ensure safety at all times
• Ensure classroom or play environment is kept sanitary and implement a cleaning schedule
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree or certification for ECE/ECEA, or certification/training through training program
• Police/vulnerable sector check
• First aid certificate, food handling certificate (if needed training can be provided by MinoCare team)
