Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Keeper to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the safe handling of materials, with the opportunity to operate various equipment. This role requires strong organizational skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and a solid understanding of safety protocols such as OSHA standards. The Warehouse Keeper plays a vital role in maintaining smooth shipping, receiving, and storage processes to support overall supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse distribution activities including receiving, storing, and shipping materials
- Perform order picking and order fulfillment using warehouse management systems
- Load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety procedures during all warehouse operations
- Assist in the maintenance of warehouse equipment and mechanical systems
- Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance is a plus
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not required
- Construction or industrial background involving heavy lifting and load & unload activities is beneficial
- Ability to read, write, and listen in Chinese is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.45 - $25.83 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
