Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Category Manager with deep expertise in Printed circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) and Strategic Sourcing to lead PCBA Category Management initiatives across our supply base. This role is critical to driving cost savings, supplier performance, risk mitigation and long term-sourcing strategies in support of product innovation and manufacturing excellence.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead end-to end category management for PCBA’s and other categories as needed including sourcing strategy, supplier selection, contract negotiations and performance management
• Develop and execute a category strategy for PCB assemblies, components and related electronic manufacturing services.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality and Operations to optimize supplier capabilities
• Conduct RFx activities (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and manage competitive bidding processes with a focus on total cost of ownership and technical alignment
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers and supplier capabilities to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Drive standardization of components and supplier consolidation where beneficial.
• Identify, qualify and manage a preferred supplier base for PCBA’s
• Lead supplier performance reviews ( quality, delivery cost, responsiveness)
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, lead times and service levels to optimize value and minimize risk
• Support cross-functional initiatives including cost reductions, dual sourcing, localization and supplier consolidation efforts
• Support new product introduction by ensuring supplier readiness and manufacturability.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including single source, geopolitical and end of life component risk.
• Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, PFAS and other regulatory requirements
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field
• 5 years of sourcing/category management experience, including PCBA’s
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, supply base and cost drivers
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contract and drive measurable savings
• Excellent communication , stakeholder management and analytical skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP Systems and sourcing tools

Compensation And Total Rewards Package

The salary range for this position is outlined below under "Job Details" and is dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
