Key Responsibilities
- Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs and goals of the athletes, including warm-ups, drills, and conditioning exercises.
- Skill Development: Provide instruction and feedback on technique and performance for various track and field events.
- Event Preparation: Assist athletes in preparing for competitions, including strategy development and mental preparation.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all training sessions and events adhere to safety protocols and league regulations.
- Motivation and Support: Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere, offering motivation and support to athletes of all skill levels.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of athlete attendance, performance, and progress.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between athletes, league organizers, and other coaches, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the league coordinator.
- Previous coaching experience in track and field or related sports.
- Strong knowledge of track and field events and training techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Reliable and able to commit to the full season.
Salary : $25
