Minnetonka Public Schools is accepting applications for Reserve/Substitute teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. Reserve Teachers are an important partner in helping us to ensure there is a caring and qualified adult inspiring our children in every day classroom!
The successful candidate will be responsible for filling in for regular teachers who are absent or on leave, providing instruction and support to the students in various subjects and grade levels.Individuals must hold a valid Minnesota Teacher License or Short Call License.

Responsibilities
$170.00 for a full day
$119.00 for a half day (4 hours or less)

Responsibilities
- Teach classes as assigned by School administration.
- Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of the diverse learners.
- Communicate effectively with students and Colleagues.
- Valid Minnesota Teaching License or Short Call License. If you do not hold a Minnesota Teacher License but have a Bachelor's degree you may apply for a Short Call Substitute teacher license through the Minnesota Professional Educators Licensing and Standards Board: https://mn.gov/pelsb/.
- Ability to teach multiple subjects and grade levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in using classroom technology to support instruction.
