Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, fire, mold, and flood damage mitigation.
- Perform cleaning, drying, and debris removal using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Conduct fire restoration activities including soot removal and odor control.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and gloves to ensure safety during all operations.
- Operate company vehicles and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with construction-related tasks such as demolition, drywall removal, and minor repairs as needed.
- Execute mold remediation and asbestos abatement procedures following industry standards.
- Use Xactimate software for documentation and estimating purposes.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning services as required.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, and emergency responders throughout the mitigation process.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Knowledge of emergency response readiness and safety protocol adherence is essential.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles confidently and safely.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration, flood restoration, mold remediation, and fire restoration techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions.
- Ability to work on-call coverage including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed during emergencies.
- Physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or materials for extended periods.
- Commitment to using personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times during work activities.
