POSITION SNAPSHOT

The graphic design intern will support our marketing and communications efforts by creating engaging visual content that helps us communicate our message to our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in graphic design and a passion for creating compelling visual content. This paid internship will provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This position requires local travel between MVTA locations and the flexibility for after-hour events and on-call duties. Standard MVTA office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm. Interns will work with the Supervisor to determine a schedule.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

• Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and design marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, bus wraps, digital advertisements, and social media graphics.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Assist with photo and video shoots.
• Ensure that all designs align with brand standards and guidelines.
• Continue to grow and expand the brand, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as apparent.

CORE COMPETENCIES & CREDENTIALS

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Critical and analytical thinking processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
