What are the responsibilities and job description for the County Support Specialist position at Minnesota Valley Action Council?
OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
To be the initial point of contact person for clients and visitors coming to the MVAC county offices. To provide information and referral services for people seeking assistance. To provide clerical support to all departments as requested. To support office procedures and operations for all departments in the county to ensure efficient, timely and professional delivery of MVAC programs. To have thorough knowledge of all MVAC programs and county resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Provide high level of customer service to customers coming to MVAC for assistance.
- Provide direct services to MVAC programs.
- Provide clerical support to all departments housed in the county office.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Applicant must have two years experience in working in an office setting. Vocational education in office procedures, computer systems, and typing is desirable. Individual must be able to work independently of daily supervisor. Applicant must have a valid Minnesota State driver's license. Bi-lingual in Spanish required.
