Responsible for assisting with classroom operations including the planning and implementation of activities, maintaining the classroom environment, meal preparations and supervision of children. Assist with individual or groups of children with social or emotional regulation needs. Assist with
addressing challenging behaviors by observing to determine possible causes of the behavior, Implementing intervention strategies, teaching children new social and communication skills. Assist children on and off the bus, maintaining orderly conduct while bus is in transit when transportation is
provided. Must meet the Head Start Performance Standards to support the child's development and school readiness. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with families, partners, coworkers, and supervisors.

Prefer degree in Early Childhood or Center Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. If non-degreed a minimum of a Child Development Associate ( CDA) must be completed within two years of hire date. Prefer previous work or volunteer experience with groups of preschool age children and working with the public. Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills beneficial.
Bilingual beneficial.
