Make a difference as a Physician Assistant As a Full-Time Physician Assistant at Minnesota Urology, you will play a crucial role throughout the surgical continuum, starting with preoperative care by conducting thorough urologic histories and physical exams. You will order and interpret essential diagnostic tests while educating patients on procedures such as TURP, cystoscopy, and prostate surgery, ensuring they are well-prepared for their journey. In the hospital you will round on patients that have undergone laparoscopic, and open urologic surgeries, performing vital tasks like wound closure and catheter placement while maintaining sterile techniques. Postoperatively, you will monitor patient recovery, manage Foley catheters, and provide comprehensive wound care, all while documenting clinical encounters and updating the EMR. Your role will also encompass completing a clinic schedule with consultations, making you an integral part of our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. With a competitive pay range of $113,200.00 to $141,500.00 annually, based on your years of experience, your contributions to our customer-centric service will be recognized and valued. These skills will enable you to deliver high-quality care and contribute meaningfully to our team. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. NCCPA certification and Minnesota PA license. BLS and ACLS certification.
