Position Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a skilled video coordinator to assist with the 2026 Minnesota Lynx regular season and any potential playoffs.
Essential Functions:
Game & Practice Video Operations
- Capture, manage, and archive team practices, games, and scrimmages.
- Code and organize game film using video analysis software.
- Prepare practice edits, teaching clips, and situational film for coaches and players.
Scouting & Opponent Preparation
- Break down opponent film to assist coaching staff with scouting reports.
- Create opponent edit packages highlighting tendencies, actions, and personnel.
- Maintain and update opponent video databases throughout the season.
Technology & Equipment Management
- Maintain video equipment, cameras, and software used by the team.
- Manage team video platforms and ensure players and staff have access to film.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to video capture, editing, and playback.
Basketball Operations Support
- Assist with pre-game and post-game film preparation.
- Coordinate video exchange with league and opposing teams.
- Support coaches with additional video or analytics projects as needed.

Qualifications
• Experience with basketball video breakdown and editing.
• Proficiency in video software such as Sportscode, Synergy, Hudl, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of basketball terminology and concepts.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, travel, and extended hours during the WNBA season.
Preferred Experience
• Previous experience with a college or professional basketball program.
• Background in video editing and game breakdown.
• Familiarity with advanced tagging and scouting workflows.

Education: Obtained or in the pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree preferred.
Compensation: This role will be paid on a semi-monthly cycle at a rate of $50,000 annually. This is a non-exempt full-time seasonal role.
***It should be noted that this position is intended to last for the pending Lynx season. Compensation will be prorated based on the length of the season and actual time worked.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are typically Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:30PM. In addition to working office hours staff may be required to work Timberwolves and Lynx home games, member events and meetings, and networking events. Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena which includes bleachers/steps as well as moderate to high levels of noise.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
Travel: Position may require travel to external events.
