Associate Account Executive New Business Development- $43,888.00 Annually
The Associate Account Executive, New Business Development is responsible for generating new revenue through the sale of Season Ticket Memberships, Partial Plans, and Group Tickets for Minnesota Sports and Entertainment. The role emphasizes high-volume outbound sales, relationship-building with prospective clients, and meeting defined revenue targets through strategic outreach and in-person engagement. The position also requires effective use of CRM tools and participation in game-day and networking events to support sales efforts.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Focus on developing new business by building relationships with potential clients.
- Responsible for new business development of specific MSE products (Season Ticket Memberships, Partial Plans, and Group Tickets) through phone sales, face-to-face meetings, prospecting events, business-to-business outreach, and lead follow-up.
- Ability to handle a high volume of sales activity, including 80–100 phone calls per day.
- Achieve annual revenue goals for Full Season Equivalents (FSEs), Group Sales, and Single Game Suite Rentals.
- Utilize networking events, Xcel Energy Center, and off-site appointments to generate and close new business.
- Prospect and qualify all new leads and referrals for season ticket and group sales.
- Build relationships with prospects via phone and enhance those relationships through in-person meetings.
- Identify opportunities for upselling with current and prospective clients, such as Group Ticket Sales.
- Leverage tools and performance benchmarks to manage sales activities and maintain organized records.
- Meet all new business development and sales goals as outlined in quarterly and annual budgets.
- Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for database management, tracking campaign activity, and managing general sales opportunities.
- Support client engagement and event-day operations while maintaining a strong service mindset.
- Manage sales tables, service clients, and prospect new business during game days and other related assignments.
- Be available to work all regular season home games throughout the season.
- Attend Season Ticket Member events to maintain existing relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, supporting a world-class client experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience with proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business in a high-volume sales environment.
- Proficient computer skills including ability to work with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Ticket Master Archtics & CRM software a plus but not required.

Work Conditions:
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed for games and events.
- Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
