Basic Function
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and evaluating programs, including grant-funded initiatives, at the Minnesota Safety Council. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance, accurate reporting, billing and effective project process management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist planning and program implementation.
- Work with businesses and program instructors to schedule training and logistical support.
- Oversee the coordination of technology for program operations, such as video conferencing technology, presentation software and other communications technologies for virtual and online seminar training.
- Maintain course records (in IMIS operation system), processing completion certificates, rosters, and course materials.
- Responsible for monthly project reporting (numbers of courses and attendees, etc.).
- Work with program team to develop and assist in program evaluation.
- Assist in overseeing the program budget, including tracking billing, and other financial transactions.
- Monitor program outcomes and evaluate effectiveness using data-driven approaches.
Program Coordination & Support Services
- Provide oversight and coordination of programming, including logistics, scheduling, and instructor coordination.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping, calendar management, reporting, and evaluation processes across assigned programs.
- Manage online systems (e.g., JotForm) and facilitate technician and stakeholder communications (e.g., listservs).
- Support program tracking, reporting, and partner engagement across multiple initiatives.
- Administer Corporate Safety Awards programming and related recognition efforts.
- Coordinate onsite occupational safety training and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Support cross-program collaboration and broader organizational initiatives.
