Federated Rural Electric is seeking a motivated Apprentice Lineman to join our operations department in Jackson, MN.
This position is represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 160.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the construction, installation, and maintenance of electrical distribution lines
- Support outage restoration and emergency response activities as needed
- Operate and maintain trucks, tools, and line equipment safely and efficiently
- Participating in safety meetings, training, and certifications
- Climb poles, operate bucket trucks, digger trucks and perform work at heights in all weather conditions
- Complete all apprenticeship-related coursework
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain
- Ability to climb, lift heavy materials, and work outdoors in all conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
