The expected annual compensation range for this position is $82,000 - $102,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions. What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET EAC accredited program required.
- Four years or more of related engineering experience OR two years or more of related engineering experience PLUS an Engineer in Training Certificate in the United States.
- A master’s degree in engineering may be equivalent for up to one year of related engineering experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Requires high level of interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships.
- This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
- Control design for substation projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Design substation control systems, including one-line diagrams, schematics, and necessary calculations.
- Serve as the technical expert for MV, HV, and EHV control systems and SCADA, providing guidance to internal teams, consultants, and vendors.
- Scope definition, estimating, equipment procurement.
- Resolve complex substation design challenges and apply standards such as NEC, NESC, IEEE, and NERC CIP.
- Collaborate across engineering, construction, and leadership teams to deliver reliable energy infrastructure.
