About Our Practice

We are a specialized private practice dedicated to conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children and adults with learning differences, including ADHD, dyslexia, and other related challenges. Our mission is to provide personalized, compassionate care that helps individuals understand their unique cognitive profile and access the support they need to thrive. This position will serve two office locations (St. Paul and Wayzata, MN).

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Psychometrist to provide standardized test administration, with specific expertise in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule–Second Edition (ADOS-2), particularly for children ages toddler through 17 years. The Psychometrist will be responsible for administering and scoring a variety of psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of licensed neuropsychologists. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for working with neurodiverse children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer a wide range of standardized neuropsychological and psychological tests to patients of varying ages and backgrounds
  • Conduct ADOS-2 administrations for toddlers through elementary-aged children, following standardized protocols
  • Conduct precise and thorough test administration for both pediatric and adult populations
  • Greet clients on the day of testing and facilitate in person fee payment
  • Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for clients during testing
  • Accurately score and record test results with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of test administration and scoring
  • Prepare score summaries for review by licensed neuropsychologists
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical psychologists and other team members to ensure the highest quality of patient care
  • Utilize electronic testing platforms and technology efficiently
  • Ensure all testing protocols are followed with strict adherence to professional standards
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information and test materials
  • Stay current with advancements in psychological and neuropsychological testing methodologies and participate in training as needed for test administration

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field
  • Formal training and documented experience administering the ADOS-2 (with toddler module through Module 4 preferred)
  • Previous experience working with children

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a neuropsychological assessment setting
  • Knowledge of learning differences and neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Experience with other relevant assessments (e.g., WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WIAT-4, NEPSY-II)

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate ($35.00 to $70.00 per hour) based on experience and qualifications
  • This role is currently estimated at 1–2 days per week, 4-8 hours per day, with the potential for additional days based on clinic volume and fit
  • There is potential for increased hours and/or transition to a full-time role over time, depending on organizational needs and mutual interest
