Currently hiring Fleet Maintenance Mechanic.Â

HOURS: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. No evenings. No weekends! RAISES: Employees receive a raise on their anniversary date each year.

Plus this position also receives a 6% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) increase in both January 2026, and January 2027 per the Union contract.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year experience in auto or diesel mechanic, or related field. Ideal candidate has an associates degree or certificate in auto or diesel mechanics
  • CDL Class A within one year of hire. Â Training provided!
  • MN Commercial Vehicle Inspector within one year of hire.Â

Performs intermediate work maintaining and repairing City equipment and vehicles, implementing preventative maintenance programs and schedules, conducting vehicle and mechanical system analyses and inspections, maintaining files and records, and related work as required.
