Maintenance Worker - Utilities - Prior Lake

The City of Prior Lake is seeking a Maintenance Worker in its Utilities division. The position involves construction, maintenance, repair of streets, utilities and public buildings including the performance of a variety of heavy and light duties and tasks. Assignments include the operation of snowplow, trucks and other automotive or construction equipment. Responsible for repair and flushing hydrants, curb stop repair and service maintenance, emergency water repairs and tests. Performs sewer and maintenance duties including lift station problem solving and repairs, chemical feed equipment and well pump repairs. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma plus vocational training in the area of building or street construction. Two years general maintenance work experience in the areas of street, water and sewer facilities. Valid Class A driver's license with tanker and air brake endorsements.
