Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Ag and Turf Mobile Service Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, service, and repairs on ag and turf equipment at customer locations using a mobile service unit.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs on John Deere and other competitive brand equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty work
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately
- Communicate service findings and recommendations to customers
- Maintain mobile service vehicle inventory, tools, and cleanliness
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Must have adequate personal set of tools to perform work responsibilities
- Proven experience with agricultural or turf equipment repair
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety standards related to machinery repair
