This experienced position focuses on plant operations and the ability to resolve issues independently. Duties include operating and maintaining water treatment and distribution system including pumps, wells, chemical feed system, meters, gauges, and SCADA system; collect, test, and record data from water samples to conform to state rules and regulations; and general maintenance.
Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree or equivalent training, three years of municipal experience, Class B CDL, Class C Operator license, Type 4 Operator license for land application of biosolids (wastewater only), Special Low Pressure Boiler’s license (wastewater only). The City will provide resources to help the selected candidate obtain licensure.
