In addition, complete skilled and general maintenance work activities and functions including operating, maintaining, inspection, and repairing the municipal infrastructure associated with the drinking water supply, treatment, storage, wastewater collection and treatment system; center pivot irrigation system; ponds; streets, trails, parks, airport and buildings and grounds.
Minimum qualifications - high school diploma or GED. 1-2 years’ experience in general, skilled or semi-skilled labor performing maintenance, repair, construction, on municipal infrastructure or operating equipment for these activities.
Minimum of two years of mechanical experience (public sector or heavy equipment preferred) including diesel mechanics and automotive repair. Possess a valid MN Class B Commercial Driver’s License or equivalent out of state driver’s license with a good driving record.
