What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Works Director / Engineer position at Minnesota City Jobs?

White Bear Township is recruiting an experienced Public Works Director/Township Engineer. This position serves as a department head providing leadership & direction related to operations within the Township. This position is responsible for policies necessary to administer services provided by the department. The position is also responsible for seeing to the Township’s infrastructure & capital improvement needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or experience in Public Works or a related field.
7 years of experience in municipal infrastructure and/or 5 years supervising municipal Public Works or Engineering staff.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Valid driver's license.
Hiring range will be consistent with the market with credit given for advanced degrees and/or experience.
