What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neighborhood Day Camp Counselor - Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board position at Minnesota City Jobs?
The MPRB is accepting applications for part-time Neighborhood Day Camp Counselors to lead and oversee day camp participants and programming at MPRB’s youth Day Camps. Staff will be assigned to one of our themed camps for the duration of the summer based on their skill sets. Summer Camp Weekly Themes may include but are not limited to subjects such as Farm-to-Table, Neurodivergent Inclusivity, Kayaking, Theater, Cycling, and water activities.
Need to Have: High school diploma or equivalent Must have ability to travel between work locations throughout the city.
Nice to Have: Experience working with youth ages 8-13: Three (3) years. Experience/Training in one of our theme activities such as: canoeing, kayaking, theater, music, dance, biking, cooking, gardening, archery, fishing, water safety.
