The City of Prior Lake is seeking a Maintenance Worker Parks worker to perform a variety of skilled tasks including the operation of light and heavy equipment; maintenance, repair and construction of parks, buildings, and other recreational facilities. This position oversees work of seasonal and temporary employees as necessary and assigned. Applicants must meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or a GED plus vocational training in a related field; Two years of general maintenance work experience in the areas of parks or a related field; Valid Class B driver's license with tanker and air brake endorsements or ability to obtain in six months. Ability to obtain Class A in one year. Preferred certificates & licenses: MN Tree Inspectors Certification, National Certified Playground Safety Inspector, Non-Commercial Pesticide Applicators License, Public Works Certificate.
